CutVision is a tool for barbershops and salons. You photograph a client, choose a haircut, and CutVision shows the client what that cut would look like on them. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it, in plain language.

What we collect

Client photos. When you take or upload a photo in CutVision, we receive that photo and process it to produce the preview.

Cut settings. The options you pick, such as guard number, blend, length and colour.

Account details. The email address you sign up with, and basic usage information such as when you last used the app.

Anything you send us. If you contact us, we keep the message and your reply address so we can answer.

Your responsibility for client photos

You are the one holding the phone. Before photographing a client, you must have their permission to take the photo and to run it through CutVision. Do not upload photos of anyone who has not agreed, and do not upload photos of children without a parent or guardian agreeing.

How photos are processed

Producing a preview requires sending the photo to an AI image model operated by a third-party provider. That provider processes the image to generate the result and returns it to us. We do not sell photos, and we do not use client photos for advertising.

How long we keep things

Photos and previews are kept only as long as needed to give you the feature, and are deleted when you delete them or close your account. Account records are kept while your account is open.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers that run CutVision, such as hosting, storage and the AI image provider, and only so they can perform that work. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to contact@cutvision.app and we will act on it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect what we hold. No service can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Changes

CutVision is in beta and this policy will change as the product does. The date at the top shows the current version.
