Terms of Service

Last updated 22 September 2026

These terms cover your use of CutVision. By using it, you agree to them.

CutVision is in beta

The product is free while it is in beta. Features can change, break, or be removed. We will give notice before we start charging, and you will never be billed without agreeing first.

What the preview is

CutVision produces an AI generated image of what a haircut might look like. It is an illustration to help a conversation, not a promise. The finished haircut will not match the preview exactly, and results depend on hair type, growth pattern, photo quality and the person doing the cutting. Do not present a preview to a client as a guaranteed outcome.

Photos and permission

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. By uploading, you give us permission to process the photo for the purpose of producing your preview, and nothing else.

You confirm that you have the right to upload each photo and that the person in it has agreed. Do not upload photos of anyone who has not agreed, or of a child without a parent or guardian agreeing. If a client asks you to delete their photo, delete it.

Acceptable use

Do not use CutVision to make images that are misleading, harassing, defamatory, sexual, or intended to impersonate someone. Do not try to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service. We can suspend accounts that do these things.

Your account

Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can close it at any time.

Availability

We aim to keep CutVision running but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error free, particularly during beta.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, CutVision is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a client being unhappy with a haircut.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product develops. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use CutVision after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States.
